Grip plates for the Mauser 98k bayonet handle. Made of bakelite, a resin-based material with fillers, not plastic.

The price is per set: right and left plate for 1 bayonet. Plates bear no manufacturer's stamps.

Available in black and brown. The parts are intentionally made slightly larger so they can be fitted with a file.

Merchandising tips

Use as replacement grip panels for a compatible Mauser 98-pattern bayonet or a reproduction display assembly. Pair with the correct two grip screws, and compare the mounting-hole spacing and handle outline before fitting; screws are a separate product.

Historical reference

German SG 84/98 bayonets were produced with both wooden and ribbed synthetic-resin grip plates. Original screw-fastened examples used removable panels on either side of the tang.
