The metal fittings for the German bread bag are a central hook on a rivet. It has a complex curved shape with a round tip. A rivet and a washer are included.

We offer hooks from:

aluminum — unpainted;
steel — coated with gray paint (Stumpfgrau - "stumpf / grau", the standard for steel fittings of the German army after 1940).

Before installation, the hook must be heated and slightly loosened. And after installing the rivet, return the required bend angle.

Merchandising tips

Use to replace the central hook on a compatible German bread bag or to complete a reproduction bag. Pair with the correct center tab, two belt loops, front equipment D-rings and rear shoulder-strap rings, then use with a matching equipment belt.

Historical reference

The German M31 bread bag attached to the waist belt through two loops and a central hook. Early aluminum hardware was supplemented by steel and zinc fittings as wartime production changed.
