A sling tip for tropical and late gear: pouches, A-frames, a mess tin strap, and a shelter quarter strap. Designed specifically for 18 mm slings.
It has a LUX stamp. Check the width of your sling before ordering; 17.5-18.5 mm is acceptable.
Easy to install: insert the sling inside and clamp the tip. Use masking tape to protect the paint during installation.

Combine with 18 mm webbing and the matching equipment buckle when making or repairing A-frame straps, mess-tin straps, shelter-quarter straps or compatible pouches. Choose the narrower 16 mm tip for a field-bottle harness that uses 16 mm webbing.

German mess tins were secured with straps that also attached them to a bread bag or combat pack. Different strap lengths and loop arrangements were used for different carrying configurations.
